Description: Introducing “Bo Derek” America’s sweetheart. She was born and raised on the farm of Jokisch Stables in Freeburg IL. We have been breeding and promoting Missouri Foxtrotters since 1982.
Bo Derek is a four year old registered palomino Missouri Foxtrotter Mare, sired by the world grand champion “Spitfires Bojangles.” Her mother is a beautiful Palomino mare named “Paris Hilton” both reside on Jokisch Stables. You’re more than welcome to come and take a look at the both of them anytime.
Bo Derek is best described as being beautiful, willing and gentle. She stands at 14.2 hands and has been going through foundation training in the Ozark Mountains near Theodosia Missouri to help her succeed in a career as a trail horse. Bo is a safe, confident mare that uses the thinking side of her brain at all times. Bo has been ridden several miles through the Mark Twain National Forest and her disposition is second to none. Bo’s quiet disposition comes from world class pedigrees in her breeding such as “Spitfires Bojangles” and “Southern Sunrise.”
Bo has been desensitized to traffic, whips, tarps and loud noises. She has crossed over bridges, walked through creeks, has experienced different terrain, and has many miles put on her. She is great with a farrier, easy to load and unload, easy to saddle, neck reins, easy to bridle, mount and dismount from an object, and enjoys following you around wherever you go, as you can see in her video. Bo is a dark palomino in the summer and light in the winter.
Bo will continue to stay with the trainer in Missouri during the auction. If you would like to view the horse please make an appointment with Dale Overcast. If you have any questions regarding Bo please contact Adam Jokisch
