Description:
Glory’s Preacher Man is a 3 year old blue papered Foxtrotter gelding. He is out of Bound for Glory who was a 5 year old Armature World Grand Champion. His mother is a Perfection bred mare that was shown as well and did very well. “Preacher” has excellent bloodlines and is a high quality horse. I have been riding him since early this winter. Before that he had 2 months of professional training. I live in the middle of thousands of acres of National Forest and have been trail riding him extensively and training him multiple times per week. He is past green broke, ready for any trail rider, but still has youthful exuberance, so probably not best suited for a therapy horse or first horse for someone who has never rode. However, I have not had him do anything wrong on a trail ride, he is friendly and likes attention. He has great stamina and would be suited good to mountainous terrain or endurance riding. He is 15 hands and 1 inch tall at the shoulders, “61 inches”, and I believe he is still growing because in January he was barley 15 hands even. I believe what I call Kid horses are bred not made and both preachers parents are Kid safe, his father has been shown English and side saddle in ladies classes while having bred mares. Preacher’s father is uncommonly gentle for a stallion and preacher’s mother’s whole bloodline is the same way. His mother has three full sisters and I own one of them, they have won many world championships and other shows at the highest level. It is because of this breeding that I searched out and bought Preacher. With some maturity he will likely become a complete beginner/family horse. As it is now I have him stalled feeding him 4 scoops of high octane feed a day getting him to fill out and finish growing and can still get him straight out of the stall after a couple days off and get on him with no warm up without any problem or silliness. July 18th is when I have the vet appointment to have his Pre-Purchase exam done so I can sell him on this site if there is anything you want checked at the vet let me know. His full dental appointment has already been done this year Wolf teeth, floating and bit seat. At that time I will add better videos of him but I wanted people to have additional time to plan a trip to come ride him if wanted or to plan on bidding on him. If there is anyone who is considering bidding that wants something specific in the video they can contact me and I will cover their request in the upcoming video. Please call with questions, request, or to schedule a visit.
