Description: Golden Tiger Stripe (AKA Tiger) is a 16.1 hh, 13 yr old, well built, Gelding… you could honestly call him a variety of colors… he has an overo paint pattern, he is a buckskin and he has a dun modifier that gives him a dark stripe down his back and tiger stripes on his legs… to say the least he is a horse of a different color!Tiger is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle. Tiger has been a family horse and has ridden by every member of the family. He has been trail ridden lots of miles and been camping in WV, VA, TN, and KY. He will ride anywhere in a group, out in front of way behind either way is just fine. Tiger is gentle and safe for most beginner to ride and you can see him being handled and ridden by our 6 year old in the videos. He is perfectly content to flatfoot walk as long as you like but is easy to get moving out. He has a natural run-walking gait that is very smooth, he has a nice lope and also neck reins! No matter where he goes or what he does, Tiger not spooky acting. On the trails he is always great! Tiger has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do. Tiger is a well trained horse with a lot of experience but he still has enough life left in him that he’s fun yet safe to ride!
