Description: Jaggers is a coming 10 year old gaited Morgan gelding. There are not very many gaited Morgans in the world. We have had the pleasure of owning and training sweet Jaggers since he was a youngster. He is as exceptionally trained, experienced and smooth as they come. He is the beginner safe, family horse people dream about.
He knows just about everything a horse could know. He knows his some pretty fun tricks. He also spins, sidepasses, does rollbacks, lines up to any object to be mounted, backs when you pick up his tail, knows leg cues, neck reins (or direct reins), stops on a dime every time you ask and sidepasses toward or away from you with just the point of your finger. You can ride him with or without a bridle. He knows his groundwork and loves doing liberty work. He is friendly like a golden retriever and will follow you anywhere.
He has always been our go-to horse for just about everything from mounted shooting to archery, hunting and packing all over the West coast, parades and even search and rescue. He is calm and easy-going no matter how chaotic his surroundings are. He has also been desensitized and exposed to just about everything you could possibly imagine.
Jaggers has a very smooth gait. He also has the smoothest lope I have ever ridden.
He is the ultimate family horse. We have even used Jaggers to teach kids with disabilities to ride. I would have no qualms about throwing just about anyone on him. He is a very gentle and patient horse. He is very in tune with his rider and will adjust to their skill level accordingly.
