Description: He is not in New York on a runway but Lemondrop is a perfect model of a horse and he sure can sway those hips and strut his stuff!!! Lemondrop is an ultra rare find… he is a gaited draft horse cross. He is an 1/8 halflinger, 1/2 Tennessee walker and 3/8 mountain horse cross… when you toss those breeds in a blender and mix them up you come out with a super smooth gaited, very wide built horse with lots of color!!! You get a horse that can set up and roll on down the road with speed and style but will drop his head and plod along like a plow horse working in the fields. Lemondrop is a beautifully marked golden palomino Tobiano, Gelding standing 15-15.1hh and he is 7 years old, registered Pleasure Saddle horse. Lemondrop is great on trails and will cross creeks, ditches and logs. He is very traffic safe around log or semi trucks, even when the air horns blow! He has been ridden in a few parades and done well at those. Lemondrop has been on numerous camping trips and has been ridden in multiple states. In addition to trail riding he has been used to squirrel hunt off of and is safe around gunfire, whether your shooting while setting on him or crouched underneath him, he is steady as can be. Lemondrop has a very smooth 4-beat gait and can move on out upto 12mph. He also has a smooth lope! He is no trouble to clip, wash, bath and is carrier friendly. He tacks up quietly and is calm around bullwhips, tarps and flags. If you maybe just want to take a Sunday stroll instead of riding, just harness up Lemondrop and hit the road because he is also harness broke and has been drove many miles single and double on wagon trains and in parades. If your looking for a do it all trail horse that can also be your work pony, one that can ride 20 miles of rough mountains in a day but is content to ride around the yard, one that can get up and go 12mph with a fancy 4-beat gait but will walk along like a Work horse, one with a heart and coat of gold… and one that is easy on your eyes… Here he is!!!
