Description: CAUTION!!!If you ride this mule you WILL love him and if you love him you WILL buy him and if you buy him you WILL live happily ever after!!!
Malibu Jack is a 10 year old, Bay Dun gelding Mule standing around 15hh that is as nice as any mule we have ever saw! Jack has made his home with a family who has had every member riding him…Mom and Dad and all 3 of their girls ages 6 to 13, even riding him double at times. Jack is very easy to handle and tack up. He is fine with his ears (no problem to bridle) and good with his feet (no problem to pick or shoe). To say Jack has a smooth gait is such an understatement! Jack has the perfect smoothest, 10/10 on the smoothness scale, natural 4-beat gait. He is keg shod, no weighted shoes or gimmicks just standard plain plate shoes. He will gait smoothly for any rider and gaits perfectly on a loose rein or as you can see in our videos, even with out a bridle! He has a nice slow lope and neckreins as well. Jack will move on out when you ask him but he is content to walk along. He takes his time in rough rocky areas and picks his way thru rough terrain. He doesn’t get in a hurry whether being ridden in groups or around the camp grounds. Jack is great on trails, will cross creeks, ditches, logs, bridges and is traffic safe. He will ride across virtually any obstacle that he is asked to and has has guns shot off of him. We have drug stuff behind him, cracked bullwhips off of him and swung tarps around him as well. ATVs, tractors and skidsteers are not an issue for him.
I was always told by my grandpa “son no horse (or mule) is perfect or bombproof” but I believe Jack would make Pappy eat those words! He is not spooky acting and has handled every situation that we have had him in like a seasoned pro. Jack is one that makes you want to go for a ride, he is one that will restore your love for the trails, he will be your best friend and will make you a more confident rider. Feel free to call with any questions!!!
