Description:
Greetings folks!!!
If you have been looking to have the most beautiful bay gaited horse at the trails, here he is! Merlot is a more of a lay back type guy when you riding him, he will be great for anyone that can sit in the saddle and ride with light hands and great leg Q’s. Merlot will come up to you at the pasture gate 90% (the other 10 he will make you walk up to him lol, super easy to catch), no matter how big your pasture is, he rides great by himself and in a group of horse, goes anywhere you point him to. Although you can shoot guns off of Merlot he will not run off with you, he is not trained for field trail competition, all we do is trail ride him and occasionally target practice as you see on the video (however, it would not be hard to finish him to the field trail competition)
Merlot is ridden once a week (when we have time) he can be idle for months and he will always be the same. The only thing I can fault Merlot for is that he knows how to untie himself from anything, so when you do tie him up at the trails or at the camp area, don’t panic, he will come right up to you or stand there for you to catch him. (I can’t blame this guy, I would not like to be tied to a post either lol)
Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself some of our happy clients that have bought from us, we tell you everything that we know about our horses from the time that we have them, we can’t tell you what we don’t know!Check out his video, you won’t regret in having this guy as your next trail buddy, or as a horse that you can use to teach your friends to ride a gaited horse as he is natural to it!All of our horses are fully vet checked before letting them go to their new happy owner, coggins are clean, shots up today, de-wormed and shoes. Folks: We want you to price this horse, there’s no reserved price on him, bid confident, because you are buying one heck of horse and the highest bidder will take him home!
