Description: Rose (Ramblin Nellie) is an 11 yr old registered MFT dappled buckskin Mare. Rose stands at 14.3 hands and is what you would call “a broke,broke,broke kind of horse for anybody who can ride.” She has been ridden by my wife who is a timid rider and has been ridden by my children. Rose is what you would call ” A been there done that kind of horse” and I have never had any issues with her. She trail rides wonderful, rides alone or in groups, stands to be saddled, stands to be mounted, has a very smooth gait, you can step her up and get right on down the trail, she baths, clips, loads and unloads, and stands for farrier. As you can see in the video she is all around safe, doesn’t spook, doesn’t shy, doesn’t try to run from you. Rose is also safe around cars, dogs, cats and anything else you might want to throw at her, nothing has ever seemed to bother her. She has been thrown out into a field with other horses and when called she is always the first to the gate to meet us. I hate to let her go but due to the changing circumstances we can no longer keep her around here on the farm. Rose would make anyone a great horse just as she has done for our family.
